Schools art

Painsley Catholic College

The artworks by 2017 GCSE students illustrate skilful and imaginative interpretations in response to set themes. In both exam and coursework projects students have developed their ideas by researching Artists and exploring a range of techniques and media. These include sculptural processes using paper, card, clay, wire and mod-roc. Drawing and painting processes include pen and wash, watercolour, acrylic, oil and chalk pastels and pencil crayon. In addition students used photography, photoshop and collage to develop their ideas.
