Whatever happened to hitchhiking…….and other stuff.

An evening of performance poetry from Julian Cohen, compere of Buxton’s open mic originals.
Covering a wide ranging subject base – personal issues, politics the beat performance  poetry is very much issues based.

Evoking feelings and thoughts, even confusion the evening will contain improvisation, possible audience participation, maybe questions – who knows where the evening will lead.

2 sets of 35-40 minutes with a 15 minute interval  starting at 7.30pm in the Foxlowe arts centre café – doors open 7pm.

Julian Cohen is the compere of the Buxton open mic originals (originally Telling Tales) formed around 6 years ago. With the aim of encouraging original poetry, music, standup comedy it’s succes has been in giving  people a voice, stirring emotions, feelings and thoughts.
