A gloriously mischievous version of the age-old tale of Snow White.  Red Earth‘s new take on this classic combines beautiful puppets, captivating story-telling and mesmerising sign language.  Played with enormous energy, great good humour and inventive props, puppets, costumes and choreography.

Friday 2 February, 5.30pm (between teatime and bedtime).

Aimed at 5 years plus but suitable for 3 years upwards (see note below).

All box-office tickets are £6:00; on-line tickets are £6.60 (including booking fee).

Last January’s puppet show “Shoe Kangaroo” was a near sell-out so do book early for this.

Disability parking at rear of building.

Licensed bar, soft and hot drinks available.

The company’s Artistic Director Amanda Wilde says: “It is for the whole family – a grown-up fairy tale with a new twist – and will be as enjoyable for elder audiences as for younger! It’s the story of a feisty and funny Snow White and it is very visual and action packed!”

What’s really special about the show is that Sign Language and English are fully integrated in the show – the actors both speak and sign at the same time – making it accessible and really stunning to watch. It’s great entertainment for the whole family. Non-deaf people love the signing as it adds to the performance.

To be sure, the print says “For ages 5 and up”, but they tell me it’s suitable for 3 years and over, and we’ve timed it at 5.30pm, between teatime and bedtime.
