Coming 10 years after the ground breaking film An Inconvenient Truth, this sequel addresses the progress made to tackle the problem of climate change and Al Gore’s global efforts to persuade governmental leaders to invest in renewable energy, culminating in the landmark signing of 2016’s Paris Climate Agreement. It also addresses the effort to counter spoiling tactics by the denial industry, achieved largely by Gore’s army of climate activists and the actions of countless individuals and organisations who just ignored governments to get on with implementing the renewable energy and other essential projects needed to address the problem.  Inspirational.

“In a summer movie landscape with Spider-Man, a simian army waging further battle for the planet and … a sexy Cold War-era superspy, it says something that one of the most compelling characters is Al Gore.”  The New York Times, 2017
